Personality
POSITIVE TRAITS
Kind Hearted; Friendy; Playful; Cheerful; Dreamy; Eager to learn
Most of the time - if around Viscets or other animals - Amadeus is a nice choice of company. He is quite friendly and kind hearted, he makes new friends pretty easily, even though he tends to be shy on first meetings. Around friends he acts very playful most of the time - he loves playing Hide & Seek, Catch or just climbing trees and hunting birds or butterflies just for fun. He can also be very dreamy - sometimes he loves to lay down, watching his surroundings. He gets distracted by rainbows, flowers, butterflies and birds very easily - he could stare at a rainbow for hours, he loves picking and smelling flowers and he thinks butterflies and birds are such adorable creatures, especially when they decide to sit down on his paws or nose. He also enjoys learning new things, as long as they don't include stuff he dislikes.
NEGATIVE TRAITS
Shy; Can be quite selfish; gets aggressive quite easily; hates to share; can be a mister-know-it-all; thievish
Because Amadeus grew up in a lab, living in a small cage together with about 10 others, he learned that only the fittest survive. And especially because of his small size he had to show more aggression and selfishness, if he wanted to survive there. Therefore Amadeus picked up the habit of attacking everyone who tries to get too close to his food - that starts with growling and snarling as a warning, but he wouldn't mind biting and clawing if he had to protect whatever is his. After leaving the lab he developed this habit further, he now would even attack other beings - especially humans - if they'd try to get too close to his friends.
Best way to calm him down is either classic music, which is how he got his name, or offering him chocolate.
When Amadeus escaped from the lab, he first started to steal in order to survive. He hasn't entirely given up that habit yet, since he still tends to steal fruits and vegetables from stranger's gardens or he sneaks into little stores to get his hands on chocolate, candy or food for his rat friend, Mozart. He also broke into a pet shop once, where he freed all the animals there and kept a rat - Mozart - as his companion.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
APPEARANCE
Amadeus is an Albino-Viscet, meaning that his fur is almost snow-white, only with a few soft spots of light grey. His red eyes mirror his feelings, especially if he is angry or somehow excited.
The most special thing about Amadeus is probably his size - he stopped growing while he was still a Viscling, therefore he is a bit smaller than most adult Viscets and many believe him to be a Viscling at first sight.
Because of his size many other beings tend to underestimate Amadeus, but he's in fact no wimp. He built up some strenght during his time in the lab and has especially strong forelegs - he can climb even highest trees in seconds. He is also a very fast runner and can jump pretty far - but not that high, he prefers to climb.
He has a Tattoo at the backside of his left ear. It says »AE-N-47«, which stands for »Alternate Experiment Number 47«, his ID from back in the lab. Most of the time Amadeus tends to forget, that he still has the tattoo and he gets angry if someone reminds him of it, because he'd prefer to forget about everything in connection with that place.
ABILITIES
LIKES
Rainbows, Flowers, Butterflies, Sunny Weather, Chocolate, Caramel Hard Candy, Hot Chocolate, Autmn, the Forest, Bees, other Animals in general, Classic Music, Climbing Trees, Playing Hide & Seek, Orange Juice, Snow, Fresh Vegetables and Fruits - especially Apples
Music, especially Classic, is Amadeus' favourite thing since he can remember. It's the only good thing he remembers from the Lab and it's the best way to calm him down, if he should snap, besides Flowers and Butterflies. When he gets scared or anxious, he tends to hide in a quiet place and listen to his favourite classic componists - mostly Mozart, Bach, Schubert, Beethoven... - until he feels better again. He doesn't necessarily dislike rainy weather, but he prefers sunshine, especially in Autumn, when the leaves fall from the trees and he can play in/with them. He loves being around other animals, trying to catch flying bugs or birds is one of the things that he could do for hours.
DISLIKES
Fire, crowded Places, small Spaces, the City Areas, Humans, Being Alone, Silence, the Smell of Blood, the Smell of Coffee and Cigarettes, Sharing
Amadeus is afraid of fire, since the big one that happened in the lab. He hates small/crowded spaces because he grew up in a tiny cage with about 10 other Viscets. He dislikes humans because those kept him in that lab and the only ones he ever knew were unkind, unfriendly, harsh and cruel. He dislikes the smell of blood, coffee and cigarettes because those are things he remembers from his past in the lab. The smell of blood and fear was always there, but also the smell of instant coffee the humans used to drink and the cheap cigarettes they smoked - until this day Amadeus despites everything that reminds him of those people who kept him and probably hundreds of other Viscets and other animals to experiment on them.

ABILITIES
- Amadeus is very intelligent. He is able to remember lots of things, sometimes even pretty complex stuff. He could hum you the exact notes of a music piece that he heard or he could give you a detailed description of a place after visiting it for a few minutes.
- He can run very fast and jump very far. He is also quite strong, even though you wouldn't think he is.
- He is a master at climbing trees and hiding in various spots.
- He understands the behaviour of other animals very fast. Except for humans, but he doesn't even bother with them.
- He is a great riddler.

STORY
When Amadeus was born, they called him AE-N-47 - Alternate Experiment Number 47. Just like his mother, his unknown father and his countless brothers, sisters and all the others, he was born into a science Laboratory, where many different animals, including Viscets, were tested for their behaviour, development, reactions etc. in various conditions.
Amadeus was one of the special ones, they started tests on him as soon as he was born, not even hatched, which is probably why he stopped growing when reaching a certain - far too young - age. Amadeus lived in a small cage, together with about 10 other Viscets, and picked up the bad habit of aggression in order to survive. Their days were set by routine - they were woken up in the morning when the first set of tests started, then sent back to their cages until afternoon. After the second set of tests - including their blood and brain functions getting controlled - they were brought back in their cages once again and fed. Feeding was rough - the fastest always got the most of the food and there were fights until there was nothing left. It was a bad and ugly life - nobody showed them love, they did not know friends or family, they were forced to live together, it was hardly ever the case that some of them got along. They all had no idea what true daylight looked like and for all of them the human race was the portrayal of the worst. The only thing Amadeus likes to remember from the lab, is the music. Amadeus has always been quite aggressive against humans, but they figured out that he could be calmed down by playing classic music.
There was one day, that started out the same as all the others. Amadeus had no idea how long it has been since he was born, the days were so alike, that everyone lost their orientation at some point. It was just about mid day, the first set of tests and experiments had just ended and the Viscets in cage Nr. 3 were trying to get some sleep. Except for Amadeus, back then still called AE-N-47. He was lurking around, climbing the bars of the cage and tripping over the others, the noises of ongoing experiments made him nervous, so he wasn't able to rest. And there was something else in the air, even though he couldn't tell what. He only knew that it was something not good that would affect him and the others in a bad way. He even tried to tell the others, but no one would listen to him. So he strolled around restless, counting his steps and hops and even tried to fit his head through the bars.
Then someone entered the room. Humans, both clothed in white bodysuits, as always. They chatted and laughed, like they always did - in Amadeus' opinion they were mocking him and the others. Their goal was obviously cage Nr. 3, which brought Amadeus to growl and bare his teeth as soon as he realized. Something was wrong, he felt. It was the wrong time for them to be in here. What were they up to?
The door of the cage opened and the men took one of the Viscets, the one closest to the door. They disappeared with him, still laughing, while the other Viscets growled at them. They weren't a pack, but all of them hated the humans just the same, so whenever they came the Viscets would go at them together - or at least try to, because none of them actually liked to mess with the electro shocker the men kept with them. Those things could probably bring an elephant down.
A few minutes later they got another one. Now every Viscet left was sure, that something was going very wrong. It wasn't the time for experiments and there was this smell in the air that they couldn't name, but it frightened them. They all tried to get as far away from the door as they could, because none of them wanted to be the next. Amadeus ended up on the front somehow and clinged to the bars, climbing on the top of the cage, trying to play invisible. But it didn't work. The men came back and got him next. He tried to fight them off, but the buzz of the shocker held him back. His whole body shook in fear while the humans brought him into a room he'd never seen before. He looked around and saw chemicals and stuff like scalpels and syringes. But the smell was the worst. The smell of the chemicals mixed with the smells of coffee, a few cups standing on a file folder, blood and - death? He did not know for sure, but somehow he just knew. And a glance to the left confirmed his fears - the two Viscets which were brought here before him were lying in a corner - dead. Now Amadeus understood, what was going on. They were getting rid of him and the others.
»I'm not going to die!« He hissed, baring his teeth at the men, who only laughed about the small Viscet trying to impress or frighten them. But while one of them was getting the syringe ready, Amadeus managed to bite the other one and jump away on a shelf, where loads of different strange-looking liquids stood. Balancing on the shelf, which was too small and fragile to hold his weight, he tried to get closer to the window, when the shelf broke down. Amadeus fell, glass shattered around him and liquids that probably shouldn't be spilled started mixing together. The men cursed loudly, that was obviously not supposed to happen. The Viscet hurried to get away from the mess, when he could feel one of the liquids burning on his paws. He hid under a chair just in time, because suddenly there was a huge explosion. All Amadeus could see for a moment was bright light and all he could hear was a loud boom, the shattering of glass and the screaming of the humans. Followed by the shrill noise of the fire alarm.
For a moment he was afraid that he might went blind, but then he noticed, that he just had closed his eyes. When he opened them again, all he could see was heavy smoke and yellow flames, licking their way through everything they touched, getting closer and closer to the chair he hid under. But he was so scared, that he was unable to move. Only the voice of one of the men brought him back to reality and just before the fire could touch his fur, he jumped forward, almost slipping on the floor. For a moment he just stood there, looking around in fear, because all he could see were yellow flames, trying to eat him alive, just as they did with the dead bodies of the other Viscets and with one of the humans who killed them. He squeaked and thought about hiding under something again, when he noticed the window! The explosion destroyed it, so instead of thick glass there was a huge spiky hole where the smoke rose up into the sky. And it was his chance to get out of here! He gathered all the courage he had left and ducked, making himself ready to jump. He had to do it on first try - if he wouldn't, he only would hurt himself and that would probably be his death sentence. But Amadeus didn't want to die. He wanted to be free.
Just when another explosion happed right next to him, Amadeus jumped - and he jumped very far. He closed his eyes in fear, he didn't want to see himself falling into shards of glass and fire, if he should fail. But suddenly the air felt alot fresher and he could feel something strangely soft under his paws. He dared to open his eyes and squealed in surprise. He did it! »Oh my! Oh my! I'm free!« He laughed, jumping around in the green grass he just landed in. After he calmed down, he glanced back to the laboratory, from which he just escaped. He felt sorry for all the others, who still where trapped in there, and he hoped that they would be able to flee too - but he couldn't help them, otherwise they'd just lock him up again, he was certain about that. And now he didn't dare to stay near this place for even one more second, so he hurried to get away from there. He just ran, uncertain where to, but he actually didn't really care, as long as he just could get away from his nightmare.
It probably had been hours when Amadeus finally stopped. He was tired and it was already getting dark. He was also very hungry, based on the loud noises his stomach made, so he decided to get some food. Because Amadeus had no skills in hunting, he failed catching birds, so in the end he ended up sneaking into a bakery, which had attracted him with the smell of fresh bread and other baked goods. He stole as much as he could carry, hiding in a dark alley with his prey, afraid someone might take it away from him. The straying cat that dared to came closer was scared off by his loud snarling and teeth baring. After eating, Amadeus wandered around, unsure where to go, since he had nowhere to go actually. But something attracted his attention - a sweet calming melody from somewhere down the street. It sounded familiar and yet unknown and even though Amadeus was afraid that the humans might be looking for him, he just had to investigate the origin of the sound. After a while he found himself close to a theatre. He could see humans playing on instruments through a window, it was obviously them who produced those wonderful sounds. He wanted to flee, still sure that every human being was evil and wanted to do him harm, but the music kept him to stay. He curled up close to the window, but in the shadows, where no one could see him. And while listening to the sweet sounds of Mozart's Nightmusic he fell asleep.
He was woken up later by a sound close to him and saw another Viscet, sitting by his side.
»Hello, little one.« The other one spoke. He obviously thought of him as a Viscling, but Amadeus did not mind. He was used to that. »Where's your family?«
»I don't have a family...« He muttered, not quite sure what to think of the other one. Was he friend or foe?
»Oh.« The other one sighted. Even though Amadeus had closed his eyes again, he could almost feel the stare of the other Viscet. »Then you can stay with me. I'll watch over you.« He felt the other one lying down beside him and ignored the urge to run away. This might be his first real friend and he was in a strange and maybe dangerous environment. He would need help. And he also had to admit that he somehow felt safer, now that he wasn't alone anymore.
»I'm Six.« The other Viscet started talking again. Six? What a strange name, he thought, but then he remembered what they called him back at the lab. His name had also been only numbers and letters. »What's your name?« He surely wouldn't tell him that.
»I don't have one...« He said.
»Oh.« The other one, Six, seemed to be puzzled. He opened his eyes and looked at Six, who was rather big, compared to himself. In the background the humans where still playing their instruments.
»Do you like this music?« Six asked. - »Yes.« He mumbled, a little bit confused. He did not quite understand, why the music mattered.
»Ok.« Six spoke again. »Then I'll call you Amadeus.«
Amadeus? He thought about that for a moment. Yes, he liked the sound of his new name, even though he did not understand how Six came up with that, because he wasn't familiar with W.A. Mozart's name yet.
Was he finally able to live a better life? Maybe Six could teach him how.
